Sallah Celebrations: FG Declares Aug. 12 & 13 Public Holidays
The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced Mon., 12th & Tues., 13th Aug., as public holidays to mark the 2019 Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations.
That is to inform most of the people that the Federal Govt has declared Aug. 12 & 13 as public holiday. The general public holiday is to mark this 12 months’s Eid-el-Kabir sallah celebrations.
Based on an announcement on Tues., the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Georgina Ehuriah, made the announcement on behalf of the federal government.
She heap praise on Muslims on the event & instructed Nigerians, at home & in-the Diaspora, to make use of the interval of the celebration to embrace the virtues of affection, humility, peace & sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
