Ingrid: Yes, I do But I’ve never made before so I’m super excited! Ro: Yes! Today we are gonna be making from because I got Ro: so many requests for them, and, Ingrid was the perfect guest because she Ro: likes donuts! Ingrid: donuts are my favorite food, literally! Ro: Couldn’t have been a perfect more… More perfect person to have on today Ro: So let’s get started! Ingrid: Let’s do this! Ro: Yeah! Ro: The things you will need, will be: 1 cup of regular flour, 1/3 cup of Ro: regular sugar, a bunch of rainbow sprinkles, a teaspoon of baking powder, Ro: 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1/4 a teaspoon of nutmeg, Ro: 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of greek yogurt, Ro: 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons of butter You will also need… Ingrid: Some baking spray, a couple of plastic bags, some mixing bowls, a whisk Ingrid: This super cute little mixer that I’m really jealous of because I Ingrid: love the color, I’m gonna have to get this Ro: I recommend this, it was so good

Ingrid: And then, a donut tin! This is basically like a cupcake tin, Ingrid: but for donuts, so it’s way cooler! Ro: Oh yeah, now let’s put it all together! Ingrid: Let’s do this! Ro: Oh yeah! Ro: The first thing that we’re gonna do is you’re gonna take a big mixing bowl Ro: and we’re gonna mix together all of our dry ingredients Ro: Will you be the whisker? Ingrid: I’m gonna be the whisk taker ha, ha, ha! Ro: Ah-wah-wah-wah-wah-wah! Ro: 1st you’re gonna add your flour, wee-oop! Then your sugar, here you go! Ro: You can start whiskin’ Ro: Baking soda, baking powder, and nutmeg! Ingrid: Oh yeah, nutmeg smells so good Ro: Yeah it does Ingrid: Oh! Ro: If you like nutmeg, this is a really good recipe! Ro: Now you’re gonna take your 2nd bowl and we’’re gonna mix together our wet Ro: ingredients

Alright, I’m gonna have you pour in the milk Ingrid: Alright! Ro: OK, and I’ll scoop in the greek yogurt Ro: Are you clumsy too? I’m clumsy! Ingrid: Very! Very messy Ro: Oh my god we’re gonna get along great! Ro: Now we’re gonna add in our butter, I’ve just melted it Here we go, Ro: oooh! You keep mixing, you’re doing great

Ingrid: I’m mixing Ro: Oh yeah, and, 1 egg Ingrid: Now we’re gonna take the wet ingredients and pour Ingrid: them into the dry ingredients So, here we go! Ro: Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice! Oh yeah! Ingrid: OK, so, I’m always afraid of making flour fly everywhere, but I’m gonna Ingrid: try my best! Ro: It’s OK, we do that all the time! Ro: Do you see quiet it is? Ingrid: Yeah! Ro: It’s quiet and powerful… Ingrid: And cute! Ro: Best mixer I’ve ever had, and I’m gonna be the scraper, Ro: I’m gonna scrape down the sides, and you’re gonna keep doing this until Ro: the mixture is really thick Ro: Now we’ve got our batter all mixed together and now, it is almost time to bake

Ro: But first, we’re going to prep our pan Ingrid: That’s right! Ro: Yeah! Ingrid: TIme to spray it down with some baking spray Ro: It’s pretty easy Ingrid: So… Ro: And if you don’t have baking spray you Ro: can use butter, anything you’ve got Ro: We’re gonna pour the batter into this Ziploc bag so it’s easier to distribute Ro: in our little donut trays

Here we go, OK Oh jeez! This bowl! Ingrid: 2 clumsy people together, what will happen? Ro: Oh no! Ro: OK, is it coming out? Ingrid: Yeah Ro: I can’t really see very good Ingrid: Almost there, almost there, you got it! You got it! Ro: OK! Ro: Got the batter in the bag, just gonna snip the little tip, bewp! Ro: Then what you’re gonna do is you just want to fill these about 1/2 way, Ro: they rise a lot This is a good recipe but just know that they will rise

Ro: So just go roooop all the way around, just like that Ingrid: Yeah, just a little guy! They start off as a little guy Ingrid: Now that our batter is in the tray, we’re going to pop this into our Ingrid: oven which has been heated to 350 degrees, and it’s going to bake for Ingrid: 910 minutes until its nice and golden brown around the edges Ro: Yes! And while they’re baking we’re going to show you how Ro: to a donut glaze Ro: To make this donut glaze, it’s pretty easy, all you’re gonna need is Ro: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 2 cups of powdered sugar, and 1/4 a cup Ro: of milk

Ingrid: You’ll also need a medium sized saucepan and a little Ingrid: spoon to mix it all together Ro: Yeah, so we’re just gonna combine everything into the pan right now and Ro: we’ll take it over to the stove and heat it up Ro: Put the saucepan on a medium heat and continue to mix the Ro: ingredients until everything is dissolved and combined Ro: The donuts are fresh out of the oven and we’ve got our glaze ready, Ro: it’s still warm, right off the stove So what you’re gonna do is take a drying Ro: rack and then underneath I have a little cookie sheet, to catch the Ro: extra glaze

And you’re just gonna take one of these little warm donuts Ro: and you’re just gonna plop him in here And I’m gonna let you do this, Ro: just flip him over with the spoon Ingrid: This smells really good! Ro: And then just scoop him up and plop him right back on here Ro: Do this to the rest of your donuts and then we’re going to decorate! Ingrid: Yes! Ingrid: Alright, so we’ve let these guys sit for about 15-20 minutes, just so Ingrid: they can harden, now what are we gonna be doing next? Ro: Alright, next we are gonna be decorating with cookie icing! Ro: So here in these little plastic bags… Ingrid: Oooooh! Ro: We have pink cookie icing with a number 2 tip at the top Ro: You don’t need to do these fancy little tips at the top, Ro: I just like it because it’s easier to control

Ro: And now what you’re gonna do is just paint little cookie icing at the top Ro: Weee-ooooo Ingrid: Do a little squiggly Ro: Yeah make it squiggly so it will look like Ro: The Simpsons donut Then we’re gonna put some rainbow sprinkles on the top Both: Ta-da! Ro: Here are The Simpson donuts that we just made! Thank you so much Ingrid Ro: for your help today! Ingrid: Thank you for having me! This was so much fun and they look amazing! Ro: They look just like from the game, if you guys have ever played any Simpson Ro: games, I used to play the old arcade game where, like, Lisa had her little Ro: jumprope, Bart had his skateboard, and I know Ingrid played some Ro: Simpsons games too

Ingrid: Yes, I played the road rage game that was for Playstation and I Ingrid: was so addicted to it! Just like, driving around Springfield and stuff it Ingrid: was one of my all time favorites! Ro: Yeah! Simpsons has a special place in our hearts! Such a cute little thing!
